News on Bruce Grove LTN Map

We have listened to the views of the community on the transport and traffic issues in the Bruce Grove/West Green area, including the changes you would like to see made in this part of the borough.

You told us that air quality, speeding short-cutting traffic, traffic volumes and a poor cycling environment in this part of the borough are your biggest concerns. An LTN in this area would help to deliver a solution to tackle these issues. You also expressed a preference to extend the LTN westwards to include the area between Downhills Way/Belmont Road and Westbury Avenue. We agree with this extension and the proposed LTN boundary has been extended to include this. An updated LTN area Map is available on our website: www.haringey.gov.uk/low-traffic-neighbourhoods .

Design options for what the LTN could look like have been prepared based on your responses and we would like to present these to you and receive your feedback.

The Workshops

We are holding two interactive online design workshops for the community.

The workshops will be held online on Zoom, and the dates and times are:

● Wednesday 26 May 2021, 6.00pm – 7.45pm

● Thursday 27 May 2021, 6.00pm – 7.45pm

If you wish to attend one of the workshops, please visit our website www.haringey.gov.uk/low-traffic-neighbourhoods and follow the link to an Eventbrite sign up page. Joining instructions will be sent to your email address following a successful sign up. We anticipate a high interest in these events, but we do need to manage the number of attendees. Spaces will therefore be limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. We will keep a waiting list should spaces become available, and we ask all participants to let us know at the earliest opportunity if they can no longer attend. If you are not allocated a space or are unable to make any of the two dates, we will be consulting on the LTN designs later this summer and there will be an opportunity to provide your feedback at that stage. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an offline option for these workshops at this time.
